Coaching for professionals who want to feel calm, confident and heard
On the outside, you look capable and in control. Inside, it can feel very different.
I’m Gemma, an ICF-accredited coach and former drama teacher, blending deep coaching with drama-informed tools so you can feel steadier on the inside and sound more confident on the outside when it matters most.
If difficult conversations make you freeze, you second-guess yourself for days afterwards, or you feel like you’re juggling too much at work and at home, you’re not alone. Together we will build calm, grounded confidence so you can speak up, set boundaries and show up as yourself in the moments that matter.
Stay steady in high-pressure conversations.
Speak up in meetings and presentations without your mind going blank.
Stop feeling like you’re struggling at both work and home.
Bring all parts of you into the room, instead of switching between “work you” and “home you”.
If this resonates, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Does this sound like you?
You might find yourself freezing when you’re put on the spot in meetings, avoiding difficult conversations with your boss, partner or colleagues, or agreeing to things you don’t have capacity for because you don’t want to let anyone down. You feel pulled between deadlines, children, cooking, life admin and the pressure to perform at work.
Quiet anxiety, self-doubt or imposter syndrome are never far away. It can feel as though everyone else is more confident, more together, more “professional” than you, even though other people see you as competent and “sorted”.
You’re not failing. You’re carrying a lot.
What you’d like instead
Most of the people I work with want to feel calmer and steadier in themselves. They want to be able to speak up in rooms that matter without going blank, to stop splitting into “work you” and “home you”, and to put their own needs in the mix rather than always at the bottom of the list. Underneath it all, they want to feel fulfilled, not just coping.
I believe everyone’s voice deserves to be heard, in the boardroom and in the dining room. You shouldn’t have to put everyone else first to be a “good” colleague, partner or parent. You are allowed to embrace every part of who you are.
How it works
Working together is simple:
1. Book a free connection call
We have a relaxed 20–30 minute conversation about what’s going on for you and what you’d like to be different.
2. Choose the support that fits
If it feels like a good match, we agree a coaching format and rhythm that works with your life and energy.
3. Start building calm, grounded confidence
Session by session, we work on the conversations, beliefs and moments that matter most to you, so change shows up in real life.
How coaching with me helps
Confidence isn’t a personality type.
It’s a skill you can learn.
In our work together, we explore what’s really happening beneath the anxiety, people-pleasing or self-doubt. Using Co-Active coaching, we gently untangle the beliefs and patterns that keep you stuck, and reconnect you with what you value and how you want to show up.
Alongside this, I bring in simple drama-informed tools – grounding, breath, posture and voice work – so your body feels safer and steadier when the pressure is on. You have something practical to lean on in the moments that usually leave you frozen, shaky or wide awake at 3 a.m.
You leave sessions with more than insight. You’ll have small, realistic practices to take into everyday life: meetings, presentations, conversations at home and everything in between.
Ways we can work together
Working together is simple:
For individuals
One-to-one coaching (online or in-person)
One-to-one coaching gives you a calm, confidential space to talk honestly about what’s going on – without having to keep it all together.
We look at the situations that make you shrink, freeze or overthink, and work on building the belief that you are allowed to be heard and to take up space. Together we find steadier ways to handle difficult conversations, ask for what you need and show up as yourself, rather than the version you think everyone expects.
Sessions are held online, or in-person, so you can join from wherever you are.
Walk and Talk audio coaching
Walk and Talk coaching is for you if conversations feel easier in movement and fresh air.
You walk in your own outdoor space and I walk in mine, and we speak by phone without video or screens. This can feel gentler if you experience anxiety on video calls or think more clearly while moving, while still offering the same depth of coaching and support.
Many people find this format grounding and spacious – time that is just for you, away from the noise of everyday life.
For organisations
Confidence and comms workshops
I also work with organisations who want their people to feel more confident and capable in high-pressure situations.
Workshops focus on areas such as:
Speaking up in meetings and with senior leaders
Managing nerves before presenting or pitching
Having difficult conversations, delegating and asking for help
Communicating with clarity, presence and authenticity
I combine my background as a drama teacher with coaching tools to create a space where people can practise showing up with more ease and impact, without feeling like they are putting on an act.
If you’re interested in workshops for your team, please mention this when you get in touch.
A bit about me
I’m Gemma, an ICF-accredited coach and former drama teacher.
I’ve spent years teaching people how to use their voice, manage stage fright and build presence. I also know first-hand what it’s like to feel anxious, stretched thin and unsure of where you fit, especially when you’re trying to juggle work, family and your own sense of self.
My own journey with anxiety led me to blend drama techniques such as grounding, breath, posture and voice work with the depth of Co-Active coaching. I bring empathy, curiosity and calm to every session. You don’t have to perform or pretend here; you get to arrive exactly as you are.
I am a Certified Co-Active Coach and have accreditation through The International Coaching Federation.
